This workshop will focus on the nexus of computational geophysics. Plenary sessions will focus on the interdisciplinary nature of the research questions driving our science. Through panel discussions and forums, the community is invited to engage in discussion on topics that both connect and are common to the domains. Researchers are also invited to present current work through lightning talks and poster sessions.
Tutorials will be held both before and after the plenary sessions will include PyLith, Rayleigh, ASPECT, SPECFEM, SW4, ObsPy, Python and Underworld!

PyLith Tutorial |
Software for the tutorials will be available for download and/or be distribute to all attendees via usb drive. It is expected that tutorial participants will have installed all software prior to their session. We will hold a short session to walk through the vritual machine install on Monday. Technical help will also be available during the breaks of the Plenary Sessions.
PLEASE INSTALL VIRTUALBOX prior to coming to UC Davis. Full instructions to install VirtualBox and the VM distributed via usb at the plenary registration desk can be found on our wiki.
Tutorials will be available virtually and recorded for later viewing. Please check back for instructions.
Posters will be available throughout the Plenary Session and should be displayed by noon on Monday. Lightning talks by subject matter will be held on Monday and Tuesday prior to the afternoon poster sessions.

The workshop and all tutorials will be held on the campus of the University of California Davis in Davis, California.
On campus housing in primarily single occupancy rooms will be provided to all participants. A hotel room block will be secured for those wishing to stay off campus at their own expense. Rate is no longer guaranteed. See Logistics for more details.

We anticipate that support will be available to cover local costs (lodging and registration fees) and partial support for transportation for most participants. Support of transportation is no longer available. Campus housing on an "as available basis" only.
