XSEDE

CIG administers a modest allocation on XSEDE resources to help CIG researchers perform small scale research tests and benchmarks, with the aim of obtaining their own XSEDE allocation.

Current allocation SUs:  

Allocation expires 31 March 2022.

We remind all users that this allocation is for community use for use in benchmarking and small runs in preparation of your own allocation request.  Please contact staff before submitting runs to ensure enough SUs are available.

Apply for an Account    

If you are a U.S. researcher and you wish to use CIG's XSEDE allocation, apply for an account:

  1. Go to xsede.org
  2. Create an account by selecting Sign In and Create an Account.
  3. After your account has been confirmed as active, apply to use the CIG allocation.

Apply for Your Own Allocation

We recommend you start by applying for a small startup allocation on XSEDE, which is accepted at any time during the year.  XSEDE also accepts request for regular allocations on a quarterly basis. Help is also available for proposal development.
